ABOUT MISS CRANE

Hello all,

 

Thank you for visiting this page. When students come into my classroom or gym, I do my best to make learning fun and meaningful so that they can experience a deeper understanding of the subjects. We focus on each students' development of mental, physical, social, and emotional wellness. Students will develop their mental and emotional health with skills such as perserverance, determination, acceptance, and coping skills. Students will develop social health with skills such as cooperation, kindness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership skills. Finally, students will develop their physical health with movement concepts, locomotor skills, nonmanipulative skills, and manipulative skills. They will also participate in activities that will improve all skill and health related components of fitness. All of these skills and strategies will help students improve their overall wellness and will help them make healthy choices throughout their lives.

 

When I am not teaching, here are some of the activities I enjoy.
